Pasta products – food product made from flour and water by mixing and molding in pasta press (separate unit is a part of pasta production line), and further drying.
Pasta products are divided into two main groups: long-cut pasta (long pasta) and short-cut pasta (short pasta).
We will not separately define clear terms for short-cut and long-cut pasta, since the existing requirements and norms for this classification are considered obsolete and do not make much sense (only complicate the "life" for pasta producers), but we will stop on fundamental differences in molding methods in sections Short-cut Pasta and Long-Cut Pasta.
